This past weekend I kicked off the sequel to one of my favorite series…a series on relationships called “Desperate Households.â€? Once a year I’ll do a series on relationships. Why? Because God says that relationships are the most important thing in life. Nobody on their death bed says “bring me my accomplishments” or “bring me my bank account.” They all say “get in touch with those that matter most and get them here as quickly as possible!”
We all need to be reminded to prioritize our lives around those that will cry the most at our funerals. Series like this keep me centered and grounded. I always have areas of opportunity for improvement at being a better husband, Dad, and friend.
Speaking of being a better husband…. Remember when you were dating? Remember when you were in constant state of euphoria, remember when you were in la-la land. You thought no couple had ever experienced love like you before! She was your princess and you were her prince charming! I know it was completely unrealistic but it’s funny to think about. Enjoy this flashback that I used in last week’s message…..huge props to my bride for helping me out on this one!

One of my all time favorite Northway Videos. At church, the guy in front of me was laughing so hard, I think he injured himself.
I agree with Steve! I’d like to know where you got those wigs – Debbie’s was particularly…entertaining! It’s so great to be able to laugh at church!
they were wearing wigs?
Steve – Debbie and I had a blast filming this…we laughed as hard as anybody else. I can’t believe how cheesy we used to be…and our kids love it!
Libby – I’m so glad Debbie didn’t check out the mirror before we shot that or there is no way she would have worn that hideous wig! I thought she resembled the Little Mermaid!
Steve – You’re hilarious. I’ll let you borrow one…you might need one Steve
I cracked up laughing. The wigs were hilarious. I think Ron and I were the same way when we first started dating.
Hey Jess! Great to hear from you! Tell Ron hello and keep love alive!
