Had a blast hanging out with the fam! It usually takes a day and half to officially unplug and get into a new rhythm. Played lots of Monopoly and Yahtzee! Just curious how many people prefer Monopoly or Yahtzee? Or is there another board game we need to upgrade to in the 21st century? Got to tell you I’m a little skeptical….how can you beat Monopoly?
It’s Monday morning, and I’m trying to process all that God did this weekend at Northway church in 7 services at 2 locations. And, all that I can say is…I’m in awe of it all!
I’m in awe that over two hundred people made decisions to follow Jesus! That’s the best decision you’ll ever make…way to go! We’re praying for all of you!
I’m in awe that we should have had more than 7 services in 2 locations to accommodate everybody! Over three thousand two hundred people were in attendance!
I’m in awe of meeting so many people that have never gone to church who tell me they feel right at home and they can’t wait to invite their friends. Welcome to Northway Church!
I’m in awe that people drive an hour and a half from the Berkshires in Massachusetts every weekend and want a Northway Church location in their own back yard…Northway in the Berkshires has a nice ring to it! �
I’m in awe that you can visit either location in Malta or Clifton Park and have the same excellent experience! You both rock!
I’m in awe of the remarkable people of Northway Church who have given their time, energy, prayers, support, sweat, and a whatever it takes attitude to pull off this incredible weekend. Thank you, Northway Church! You are the best! You are the dream team! I love you and it’s an honor to be your pastor. We are on the ground level of what God is going to do in the Northeast. Don’t stop dreaming!
I’m in awe of Jesus and that He didn’t have to do it…but I am so glad He did! (Check out the Easter message for more.)

By the way, I know that many of you are on vacation this week. I pray that you have a great vacation and have a chance to get refreshed, relaxed and renewed! I’m going to unplug from technology for a few days and be with my family. I’ll talk with you Friday!
Got away Monday Night and Tuesday morning with 5 of the greatest guys I know (which happen to be on staff) for one last creative push for the biggest weekend of the year! Easter at Northway! I love the creative process and I love the people I work with! It’s infectious!
This year the creativity has gone to another level from traveling to Israel, capturing some amazing footage, planning and preparing all aspects of our Easter services…..it’s going to be amazing! I believe God is honored by that. I don’t believe God wants us to approach Him the same way, with the same routine, with the same ritual year after year. How mind-numbing!
My prayer is that God is going to use this new series “24â€? to change our view of Jesus. Whether you have heard the stories of Jesus your entire life or it’s brand new….my prayer is that all of us are pushed back! I think over time it can become so one-dimensional, so predictable and we lose the awe of it all. In other words, what does someone who lived 2000 years ago have anything at all to do with our lives today? It’s more than a story, it’s more than words on a page, it’s more than your parents’ or grandparents’ faith……it’s more than religion, it’s more than a denomination…..It’s more! It’s “24â€?…. experience Jesus as never before! The quest begins in 3 days!
