Nine weeks ago, I was skeptical about this whole “Connection Group thing”…but I believed God was telling me that our church needed it. I’m in community every day with my team and I’m around people all the time …so I don’t need more, but maybe our church does.
It has been so refreshing to see our church grow thru our Connection Groups. Every week somebody is telling me an exciting story of life change that happened in their group or how they have served the outside community. The stories are amazing, and we will try to get them to you.
Last night was the wrap up of 9 weeks with an amazing group of people! All I can tell you is my view and belief of Connection Groups was wrong. Being with this group and doing life together, sharing our homes, our struggles and growing has been one of the greatest experiences of my Christian life.

Connection groups are a great idea. If for nothing else it is a place that we can meet different people and make new friends. It is also good for the unity of the church and a place to identify potential leaders to help with the future growth of NC. This type of program should be an on going thing with variations so as not to let it get stale.—- Great concept, let’s keep it going.
Our group just finished up last night and we’ve already agreed that we need to get together just for “fun” between now and January. These groups have been FANTASTIC in making new friends, getting closer to God and just clearing the mind and gaining strength to get us through our weeks. Whoever came up with this idea really knew what they were doing.
Thanks for Connection Groups! My husband and I really LOVED ours! I hope to see the groups continue in the future!
