LEVERAGE THE LEG SEASON
Yesterday, I mentioned I would blog about the possible dangers of the leg season. I think Paul’s post put it best to Timothy, “Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to ALL believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.” In other words…leverage your leg season!
No one believed in the next generation more than Paul; however, he indirectly addressed their blind side. What’s their blind side? What are the dangers of the leg season? Consider the opposite of what Paul said, not being an example to ALL, in what you say and how you say it. My take on the next generation is they are doing an outstanding job in faith, integrity, and their future is bright. However, an area of opportunity is…to season their words in order to spread their influence to people in All seasons of life.
To run your race in the first stretch, you don’t have to estrange other runners. Words are powerful, but how you say those words is just as powerful. I love what someone said…if you’re right and you’re rude, you’re wrong. Are you arrogant in what you say and the tone you use? If so, you are limiting what God has for you. Let me encourage ALL of us, regardless of where we are in the race,…we run better together when we flavor our words.
What taste are you leaving by your words and tone?
Do people just in your generation respect you, or do people from ALL generations respect you? (1 Tim 4:12)

Just a hunch…but I think they just might have cheese steaks in heaven. At least I feel like God rained down manna from heaven for me with
Their official Grand Opening is tomorrow. I’ve already been there 3x since Tuesday. I highly recommend whiz. Time to jump on my bike and work it off! Tell Nate and Vaughn I sent you. I’m trying to get a life time supply of manna.
Many times I take myself way too seriously. Face it, no matter where you lead, leadership is stressful business. When you think about what God has entrusted us with…it can be overwhelming! I believe a health gauge for leaders is their laugh-o-meter. I just made that word up, and I like it!
