June 21st & 22nd marked our last weekend in the Shops of Malta. The Shops of Malta is where it all began, but not where God will finish His work thru Northway Church. Looking back, we have had a lot of memories in that building. A ton of changed lives.
What is one of your favorite memories in the Shops of Malta or of Celebration Weekend?
There were so many great and wonderful memories I can not pick just one. I can give three, First the
Sunday in Dec 03 when I first accepted Christ, second was opening night of Celebrate Recovery Feb 6th 05,
third was my father being baptized.
As far as the celebration it was witnessing God’s faithfulness.
There are so many it is really hard to narrow it down to one or two, so we need to name a few. First is the day we were saved.
Second, is when we were baptised. Third, and one of the most important was the first message we heard from Pastor Buddy.
The most important phrase that made such a difference to us, and that we never heard anyone else ever say before, is when Pastor Buddy reminds us that “Our God loves us far more than we can ever imagine”.
Thank You to everyone that made Northway a reality!!
id have to say it was my first weekend at Northway. Never had i felt so welcome. Never had I felt so loved. For the frist time in almost 14 years i felt like i belonged…..i left God about 3 years before i came to Northway…this church changed me. it saved my life. a second place memory was when Matt killed kidzway.( it over heated) and we had to fake it for an hour. Not to mention i did not get the groupwork and i was SGL. Doug and i got very creative. Over all i think it was one of the best weekends.
My first memory would be getting that first postcard in the mail from Northway.way back in 2002.Attending the very first service on 9/22/02.being baptised on 8/17/03.
All the fantastic people Sue and i have met at Northway.
The dedicated staff and VIPs.A worship team that blows me away every weekend,and sets the tone for each service.
And all the sacrafices and hard work you and Debbie have made and done to make Northway what it is.Every time i walk in i feel like i am with family.
