I’m so excited to be back this weekend and I will be sharing one of the highlights from our incredible summer at Northway Church!
Our Middle and High School students.
150 of them went to camp and you will hear some of their stories. I believe you will experience the most powerful service you have ever been to as they have an unforgettable surprise at the end. You know you hear a lot of doubt about this upcoming generation but, I believe this next generation will be the greatest for God!

wow. almost one year ago I came to live different and Northway. I remember being a freshmen, it was scary! I hated how my life was going….I wanted to die. Then I saw flyers for Live Different. I thought it would be cool, to give it a try. I has so sure God could not love me. I thought this way, no one could say I did not try. So I went. I felt so alone! I did not know anyone, and every one else seamed to know each other. They talked about camp and all these things….I was like wow…I do not belong here. Then one kid got up and talked about his past. Drugs. Pre marital sex. drinking. I just stared at him. I was in total shock and disbelief. Then I was invited to Northway. Never had I been more scared. I did not think id fit in. My dad dropped me off 20 minutes earlier then I was meeting Kristie. I did that whole stand out side the door to the side pretend to read the poster 17 times….then I walked in. All of a sudden Debbie came up to me and said, ” You are new right?” I couldn’t even talk. I could just nod. She asked me my name and I said K-Kaitlynn. She then gave me a tour. And to this day, I can remember what made me stay. We had just bumped in to Brian and she said who I was and I could point out the spot this happed b. c he made such and impact on me,. he shook my hand and out his other one on the other side of my hand and said ” Welcome to Northway church, I am so happy you are here” He meant it. Never before did I have a place, that I was welcome, where I belonged. I remember when you first came on stage. you had a bat. Then you threw candy at us. I was like wow….this is not lame. So it was then I made a choice that maybe God id for me, I talked to a kid in Live Different and took God in my life.Now I am almost to the one year mark. Look at me now. While I can’t be a Pastor, I can be a youth Pastor, and maybe a Biblical counselor. Hey Buddy……hire me in 6-7 years? =P
Pastor Buddy, this is what Northway is all about…. Kaitie your
beautiful. You are so inspiring with your truthfulness, you
make it all worth it. You are our future. Press on, dig into
word. Your going to be a great leader some day.
