Preachership or Leadership? Which floats your boat?
Senior Pastor, so goes your weekend, so goes your church! As the Senior Pastor, you are the primary vision teacher for your church. As you know, it requires a GINORMOUS amount of time and energy to be prepared for what God has called us to do. Frankly, it can be ALL consuming…and without your visionary teaching at the helm, make no mistake about it, your ship will sink!
But what about the weekdays? What about your staff? What about your crew? If we’re not careful, we can end up spending ALL our time alone in our cabins preparing for the message…and our crew can begin drift. What about the major daily decisions that need to be navigated that will affect your course? What about the development of your team? If any of these questions are ignored…your ship will eventually capsize.
In part 2 of CC with Craig Groeschel…Craig, will give his experience on what your church needs more of…preachership or leadership.
What has been your experience? What do you need more of?
How do you divide your time between the two?
If you could ask Craig about his experience, what would you ask?

“If I Only Had ______.”
How many times have you found yourself as leader saying…“If I Only Had _______.” If I only had what that leader had…of course they’re successful…If I only had their budget, If I only had their staff? If I only had their funding. The list of If I only had’s are Endless and Dangerous! I like to call it…“The grass is greener on the other size of the mega church syndrome!”
In part 1 of 3, CC with Craig Groeschel, you will discover that your problems and challenges are the same as the leaders on your…If I only had list. Same problems…just more zeroes. Regardless of what your current challenge is as a leader, Craig gives practical insight…that the key is how we choose to respond. Freak zone or faith zone?
What challenges are you currently facing? How are you working thru the freak zone?
Next Monday on CC Craig will discuss which is more important, your leadership or your preachership? Also CC will have a whole new look and new intro.
70 Middle Schoolers + 15 Adults + 5 days of camp = A generation transformed
I believe that this next generation is going to be the best generation for Jesus Christ! It is amazing to see how God has used our summer camps to transform families and help build the church. If you are a parent, let me encourage you to get your kid to camp…period. It’s the BEST investment you can make. God will change their life!
Years ago, God captured my heart at camp, and my life changed dramatically. In fact, I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today if I hadn’t gone to camp. God completely changed the trajectory of my life and called me into something I never thought I would do…ministry. All because of a week of camp.
EMAIL US if you want to find out more information about our camps. Middle School camp is next week, and our High School camp begins on July 27th. Please join us in praying for our students and leaders!

This past weekend I had the HONOR of speaking at Shore Fellowship Church in New Jersey. Shore Fellowship, without a doubt its one of the most amazing churches in the Northeast!
It’s unbelievable what God is doing through this church!
To say it was an emotional day for Debbie and me is an understatement. Why? The remarkable Pastor of Shore Fellowship is Tim Chambers. It was such an honor for Debbie and I to experience first hand how God has used Tim and his incredible bride, Donna. Get this… Since Tim became the Pastor of Shore Fellowship ten years ago, Tim has led them from a traditional church of 300 to a cutting edge church that is reaching over 1600!
If you have been around the Northeast, then you know that is HUGE!
Tim and Donna’s hospitality to my family was over the top! You know it’s good when my daughter asked me, “Dad, can we kick the summer off every year like this?”
Being at Shore Fellowship was a full circle moment in my life. Who knew that Tim and I would both end up in the Northeast and have the honor of leading two great churches?
Only God.
I asked Tim in the green room after speaking… “Tim, can you believe we get to do this?” We both just shook our heads and laughed with joy!
