Have you ever believed in something, then stopped? – I have.

Have you ever felt like Christianity OVER promised and under delivered? – I have.

Have you ever lost your faith? – I have.

Have you ever thought about quitting on God? – I have.

If you can honestly answer “YES” to any of these questions, if you know anyone else that has answered yes, or has quit on God, then this weekend will be…

The most important weekend in your life.

One of the greatest honors that I have had as a pastor happened this past weekend. I had the honor and privilege of renewing wedding vows for well over 200 people!

It was amazing to see husbands and wives from all ages and stages recommit to each other.

What else is amazing is when the local press hears about what we are doing at Northway and wants to come find out more.

Capital News 9 came out to our services and ran a story about the vow renewals… Check it out…

Do you ever think that there has got to be MORE to this life? MORE than just making a living? MORE than pleasure? MORE than entertainment? Clearly, life has to be MORE than just acquiring possessions, power, and position.

The reality is that if we don’t know the meaning of life, then we will never experience a life of meaning.

Join us for our new series, THE CAUSE, and discover that there is MORE to your life.

THE CAUSE is about empowering you to reach your potential.

THE CAUSE is about discovering the meaning for which you were born, and living out your meaning.

Welcome to the final episode of this CC interview with Troy Gramling.

I have enjoyed so much to be able to share with you the wisdom that flows from Troy. I look forward to having him on here again in the future.

In this episode, Pastor Troy talks about how he has changed the way that he communicates. This is something that every pastor or leader needs to see.

What an amazing weekend at Northway Church!

We wrapped up our series, Relational Rehab, by talking about how we need to be a church that believes in people! Whether in business, friendships, or family, we all need to believe in each other and become dream releasers!

Why? Because God believes in us!

An added bonus to this weekend was that hundreds of husbands and wives renewed their marriage vows. This was the largest ceremony of it’s kind on the East Coast!

Capital News 9 picked up the story, and you can watch the on-going coverage tonight starting at 5pm. Special thanks to Dayana Perez for covering the story!

Also, don’t forget that you can watch Northway on the Capital Region’s CW at 10pm every Sunday night! We are receiving story after story of how our program has helped change lives!

I hope you have a great week!

Today on CC is another episode of Cremeans Couch with Troy Gramling.

It has been such an honor to have him as a guest!

Today, Troy is talking about how dangerous it is to compromise as a pastor or leader.

Also, I need to know… Who do you think would win if Troy and I played a game of hoops? All I can say is that one of us is undefeated so far, and it’s not the guy on the right! Just saying… :)

Missed any of the interview series so far?

Go back and watch it… (Part 1) (Part 2) (Part 3)

Leaders are Learners.

They are curious, inquisitive, and continually ask questions.

Leaders have an insatiable appetite for new information.

I think that’s just some of the reasons why they enjoy leadership conferences.

Seven years ago, when we started Northway Church, I was starving and craving for any information that I could get my hands on. Today, as I reflect back, I can see how God used information shared at key conferences to change, challenge and encourage our ministry to become what it is today. In fact, some of the biggest changes in our ministry have taken place after God challenged my heart at a conference.

I think one of the other reasons why leaders benefit from conferences is making new friends.

For the first 2 years of Northway Church’s existence, no one even knew we existed. We were isolated and insulated and alone in the Northeast. I can’t even begin to tell you how lonely those first 2 years were. I’m eternally grateful to God for meaningful friendships that originated from attending a conference after our second year.

This is why I am so enthusiastic about X Conference. I know from hearing my new friend Pastor Todd Bishop’s heart, X Conference will have “all of the above”, but there is even another bonus benefit…

Leaders in the Northeast are Unique.

You have to live in the Northeast to understand that. We are not in the Bible belt. What works down south, in the mid west, or out west doesn’t always translate in the Northeast. This is why I’m pumped out of my mind to hear from Leaders who have done it and are doing it in the Northeast!

Let me encourage you, and your team, if you live anywhere in the Northeast, do not miss X conference. I promise you will be glad you did. You never know how God will use this to change your future and give you some new friends to encourage you to reach your God-given destiny.

“Laughter is good medicine.- Proverbs 17:22

God has an extraordinary vision for your life!

I don’t want to shock you, but to accomplish God’s dream for your life, it will require every ounce of strength you have.

So, let me state the obvious, the enemy will do everything in his power to prevent you from achieving your God-given destiny.

How? The enemy’s number one strategy to impede you is to…

STEAL YOUR JOY.

Scripture tells us in Nehemiah 8:10, “The JOY of the LORD is our STRENGTH.”

Download that.

Your joy is your strength.

If you lose your joy, you lose your strength.

If you lose your joy, you lose your destiny.

October 24th and 25th is going to be a unique and exciting weekend as we conclude our five week series – Relational Rehab.

What’s so exciting about it? As a part of our services, we will make history as hundreds of husbands and wives come together to renew their vows.

In short, it is a new beginning. It is an opportunity to start over again. One thing that we have in common is that we need forgiveness, healing, and hope in our relationships. I believe heaven will be smiling down on Northway as married couples recommit to love each other as God would have us love each other.

Let me encourage you to make a decision to start fresh in your marriage. Join hundreds of other couples that are renewing their marriage vows at Northway Church. To register, you can email us at Vows@NorthwayChurch.tv, or you can visit our kiosk in the lobby this weekend.

Leaders lead in Faith.

Leaders lead in Risk Taking.

Was there a time when you used to lead more in these areas?

If so, what happened?

Why is it that the longer you lead the easier it is to play it safe?

In this episode of CC, Troy Gramling will talk about how to lead in faith in every season of your ministry
