Cremeans Couch: Mac Richard

When I think of Pastor Mac Richard, I think… Leader, Author, Pastor, Entrepreneur, but for me, my favorite title is Friend.

Mac and his wonderful bride Julie have become dear friends of ours. Their passion and love for Jesus and His Church are absolutely contagious!

You are going to enjoy this episode of Cremeans Couch as Pastor Mac talks about some things that have helped shape the way he leads Lake Hills Church in Austin, TX.

buddy i want to tell you that you WERE born to do this. i have never been more moved with the message of GOD. when you speak i can see in your eyes that you trully believe in what you preach, i also told dewey tha and thanked him again for being so persuasive on getting me to northway. you have made a big change in my life. i trully believe now that JESUS loves me no matter what.it has taken 55 years of my life to realize this. i cant thank you enough for what you preach. i hope and pray that northway prospers more than the catholic church. i believe that if everyone came to northway, they would’nt need the other. thanks so much for making me BELIEVE…………………………PS Iam moving to SOUTH CAROLINA in 3 weeks and i will be going to POINTE NORTH church, thanks for laying the ground work, your friend ralphieboy

Mac is my pastor here in Austin, and I feel blessed that I get to see him preach each and every week (except when he is a guest pastor at another church) :) . I agree with what he was saying about accountability, it is definitely an act of love to hold someone accountable. I enjoyed the “couch”, I’ll have to check this out more often. Thanks!

i put 35 years in the papermill, worked hard all my life. i thought that was all i had to do. well the family suffered as far as noy having me around. well, i’m 55 today and i said a long time ago i wanted to move south. i need the heat for my health soa year ago the mill let me go. probably a good thing because i know i would of died there. both my children live and work in SC, my son is married and baptised and my daughter will be married on NEW YEARS and is also baptised sooooo i said to my wife its time. we both renewed our vows last sunday and we both intend on getting baptised when we get down there. i had planned on moving when i turned 56 but the situation changed a year ago. anyway i miss my kids something awful. i know you would agree. im gonna miss your preaching. again i will say , you move people in the right direction, and me being someone who never took directions, is finally listening to the word GOD. if they had only done this 50 years ago, i probably would’nt have been on the other side of the tracks. you started paving the road that i know goes straight to heaven. now my GPS didnt work, so im gonna follow GODS path. …………………..thankyou buddy for making me believe again and thankyou dewey for that kick that i needed…………….i am blessed
