Faith and Honor are inseparable.
It is impossible to have one without the other.
The reverse is also true.
Wherever you find Dishonor, you find Disbelief.
“Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without HONOR.” He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them. And he was amazed at their lack of FAITH.” (Mark 6: 4-6)
Consider this.
Jesus had just released His supernatural blessings by healing multitudes of people in the first five chapters of Mark.
However, in Mark chapter six, Jesus’ blessings were strangely blocked.
Why?
Wherever you find Dishonor you find Disbelief.
Jesus was willing to heal people in and release His supernatural power of blessings in his home town, however…..
Wherever you find dishonor, you find disbelief
Faith and Honor are Inseparable.
Is there an area in your life where you have dishonor?
If so, God can’t honor you with His blessings.

I think that for me the area that I struggle in with dishonor is with my husband. I struggle with honoring him. The Lord has had His finger on this area of my life for awhile…I am in the PROCESS of learning how to honor my husband, all the time, not just when he is being “good.” A specific example comes to mind. Approximately one month ago, we had a pretty heated dispute. We ended up not speaking. The next day I planned on continuing the ’silence’ but the Lord laid it on my heart to bring him lunch at his work. I decided to listen to Him, rather than my pride, and by faith extend the proverbial olive branch. The PAYOFF was wonderful. The PROCESS has been hard and I am tempted sometimes to not honor my husband, and consequentially the Lord, but when I take that step of faith to walk in His ways, He always gives me more of a PAYOFF than I could ever imagine! And that is what makes me so THANKFUL at this time to be a Christian because of His awesome ways of honor and faith.
I want to thank you for your message on honor. I realized that many times for myself it was truly pride I was looking at instead of humility. I agree wholeheartedly with you about honor. Thank you so much for this series. It has really made me have to look inward and make some serious changes.
I would also like to say thank you so much for your kind words about my family at Vision Night. It truly is an honor and privilege to serve in KidzWay and it really means a lot to be appreciated for your efforts. A little embarassing, but good.
Keep up the good work and thank you for pushing all of us to see what God sees in us.
