“If I Only Had ______.”
How many times have you found yourself as leader saying…“If I Only Had _______.” If I only had what that leader had…of course they’re successful…If I only had their budget, If I only had their staff? If I only had their funding. The list of If I only had’s are Endless and Dangerous! I like to call it…“The grass is greener on the other size of the mega church syndrome!”
In part 1 of 3, CC with Craig Groeschel, you will discover that your problems and challenges are the same as the leaders on your…If I only had list. Same problems…just more zeroes. Regardless of what your current challenge is as a leader, Craig gives practical insight…that the key is how we choose to respond. Freak zone or faith zone?
What challenges are you currently facing? How are you working thru the freak zone?
Next Monday on CC Craig will discuss which is more important, your leadership or your preachership? Also CC will have a whole new look and new intro.
I’m excited to be re-airing Cremeans Couch starting next Monday. I am also going to be interviewing some great leaders this summer!
Why am I doing Cremeans Couch? Because ONE thing we have in common, no matter the size or scope of our leadership or ministry, is we ALL need encouragement. I can’t tell you how many times I have felt like a Pre-Barnabas Paul. I’m praying that God uses Cremeans Couch to encourage you that you are not alone in your challenges. To encourage you by offering solutions to your challenges, and to provide an online vehicle of conversation and a community of people that believe in you!
God has blessed incredibly in this already as I have had some amazing guests, Ed Young, Lisa Young, Craig Groeschel, Bil Cornelius, Mac Richard, Mark Batterson, Steve Furtick, and Perry Noble…just to name a few familiar people in the church world.
Make sure you check back on Monday’s to see some of the great leaders in our country answer some tough questions about life and ministry.

When God called me to preach…that’s all I thought it involved. Believe it or not. You may call it naïve. I don’t know. But, I never considered it had anything to do with money. I was shocked to discover the weight of carrying the financial mantle of leadership as a Sr. Pastor.
Don’t get me wrong, the burden of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ is huge and the greatest honor of my life, but when you consider funding that vision, it sometimes can seem overwhelming. Factor in that as the Sr. Pastor you are also responsible for providing for your staff and their families…and it’s Pressure with a capital P.
What if there was a way to fully fund your church? What a world that would be. Think of what you could accomplish. Just a pipe dream, right? Remember, in scripture there were 4 times the work of the Lord was fully funded…what if, in our time, it was the 5th?
Enjoy this thought-provoking insight by Frank Reynolds. Help spread the word, Pastors!

Emotional Idols
Managing your emotions in life is the secret of success. However, many times, our emotional gauges as leaders are the most neglected.
In Part 2 of CC, Brandon cuts thru the complexity with a question…who have you set up as your emotional idol? Ouch!

Most people know Mark Batterson as a gifted author, entrepreneur and pastor; but did you know Mark is also a basketball player? That’s right! A hooper! Is there anything this guy can’t do? This gave me the idea of changing the Couch to the Court.
I asked Mark if he would be open to hitting the hard court while I lobbed out some questions, and he loved the idea. He also was the camera man. Again, is there anything this guy can’t do? Now, I have had the privilege of meeting and interviewing a lot of interesting people thru the years, but Mark has to be one of the most likable people I have ever met!
I love people who know how to have fun! Mark is one of those unique individuals who doesn’t take himself too seriously in spite of his break-out success. I think that’s one of the reasons he is so successful! Enjoy this episode of Cremeans Court. WARNING: it may make you dizzy. Watching this video will make you appreciate the talent of the real pros behind the camera.
