PACKED HOUSE IN CLIFTON PARK AND COLONIE!

• Kicked our new leadership series off…PG: Parental Guidance Required!
• This series is going to be off the chain!
• Many people accepted Jesus Christ! Very cool to happen in a parenting series.
• Leadership is stewardship; leadership is influence
• The greatest circle of influence you will ever have is not in your job but in your home!
• God trusts you and me to set the next generation up for success…
• It’s the greatest compliment that He could give us.
• Parenting is passing the baton to your kids for the second leg of the race
• Too many times we are focused on our race…just the first leg
• Northway believes this next generation will be the greatest generation for Jesus Christ!
• Northway – Colonie had their Grand Opening, and we added another service…now 10am & 11:30am
• Wish I could have been there…the place looks amazing!
• So proud of the core group that worked their butts off getting Colonie ready
• Pastoral secret…if I wasn’t the Senior Pastor, I would attend Colonie…and then go to Cheesecake Factory
• Made some mistakes trying to incorporate new seating process in CP…sorry

I can’t say enough great things about today! God has given me such a passion for Northway Church – Colonie. I will be honest and say that it hasn’t always been that way. At first, I was doing it just because you asked me…now I feel like it’s a divine burden and calling!

Today, I broke down emotionally several times in quiet moments by myself. I met so many new people, people who need Hope, people who need Community, and people who just want to know that they matter.

Today I met a middle aged man.  He was the first person to show up this morning, and he let me know that he came to Easter at the Pepsi.  He is a little rough around the edges, but I spent time getting to know him.  He promised he would be back, and he was excited that the bus line comes right by our church because he doesn’t have a car. I love this guy!! I can say that there was a time in my life that I wouldn’t have loved him.  I would have judged him.  I would have thought myself better than him, but today I saw him for who he really is…a man that God loved so much that He sent His Son to die for him as much as He sent His Son for me.

Today I spoke with girl in her twenties.  She grew up in church but had grown tired of the same old same old…she loves this place.  She brought 5 visitors with her! She gets it!!!

Today I met a young couple that moved here from South Carolina 6 mos. ago. They have bounced around in a couple of different churches but have yet to feel connected or at home. They informed me today they feel at home in Northway – Colonie.

Today I saw a worship leader living out his God-given potential and worshiping unashamed and joyfully…bringing his God Glory and keeping none for himself. I saw a teenager in a new light…not as a teenager but as a Man of God who lays his talents at the Throne of the Almighty.  He is going to be a world changer.

Today I watched a 60 year old man with Autism clean up and take out the garbage when everyone else left.  He will be the greatest in the Kingdom one day.

Today I shared a moment with the Berkshire crew.  They had all piled in their car and were ready to leave.  I ran out to the car, looked them in the eyes and said thank you. I meant it. All the hours they spent painting and fixing stuff that was broken.  The money they put in their gas tanks.  The time they spent apart from their family.  Today was what makes all of that worth while. Their teary eyes stared back into mine…thank you’s mean a lot when you mean them.

Today, ministry changed for me.  Today, God broke my heart for people…

• This weekend was off the hook…off the chain…and whatever else it could be off of!
• It was good to be home
• Over 100 people  accepted Christ this weekend in 3 locations!
• 4 people accepted Christ in Colonie and we haven’t even officially “opened” yet!!
• Literally hundreds of people came forward to ask for prayer for healing both physically and spiritually!
• Easter is EARLY this year…10 services in 3 locations…WOW…I can’t wait!
• Our Colonie location will have it’s Grand Opening on Easter Sunday and we will rock it in 2 services!
• We are kicking off our new series “I Love the 80′s” on Easter
• the 80′s was the Best Decade for music…easily!
• What’s your favorite 80′s Jam?

• Awesome weekend! God’s presence is present
• Words have POWER!
• To declare the words of God…mind bending
• Prayed with a ton of people and so did our other pastors and team
• Love the name Jehoshaphat!
• Don’t know what to do, but my eyes are fixed on you, God! Best verse ever!
• Love the fact that He sent the worship team, singers and instrumentalists to the front lines in 2 Chronicles 20.
• Our bands bring it every weekend…declaring God’s praises!
• Gave a way a ton of Bibles!
• Had a ton of people sign up for Connection Groups!
• Praying that we get 1000 people in groups and help rebuild homes in Saratoga for the needy!
• Proud of Brian…he spoke at Colonie today…heard he was off the hook!
• Can’t believe I committed to wearing a Giants jersey in church if the Giants win…
• Having second thoughts…but I’m a man of my word
• Had a great family night…went bowling! Whoever won got to pick where we would eat
• It was pretty competitive…but I won…my score…148…not bad…maybe I could go pro
• I chose Indian food…I really dig chicken masala…bowling and Indian food…what a combo!

• Unbelievable weekend…just as good as our Christmas Eve services!
• God’s presence was so evident! Unforgettable experience!
• Big challenge…4 to 6 services…went seamlessly!
• We needed those extra services…we were jam packed!
• A record breaking, regular, non-holiday weekend!
• Great momentum in 2008!

• First time probably in church history…that a chia pet was given away in every service!
